VA hearing aids are a great option for those who qualify. The Department of Veterans Affairs has a program called the Hearing Loss Program which provides help for veterans who have hearing loss due to injury or disease. This program helps veterans find ways to deal with hearing impairments and provide information about services they may need.

REGISTRATION FOR VA HEARING AIDS

If you are a veteran and want to get enrolled with the VA health care system, you must first register at your preferred VA Medical Center. Fill out an online form or print a registration form and send it in via mail. Once this is done, you will be able to enjoy the benefits of our world-class healthcare.

In order for veterans to enroll in the VA healthcare system, they need to know which medical center they prefer and then register there. Registration entails submitting their driver’s license (or any other relevant documents) along with filling out forms online or by mail. After this process is complete, veterans can rest easy knowing that they have access to some of the best health care around.

VA HEARING AIDS ELIGIBILITY

Veterans who have a hard time hearing can get their hearing tested through the VA healthcare system. The VA has been helping veterans receive health benefits for their hearing needs since the 1940s when they first began providing hearings tests and services. Enrolling is easy -visit the VA’s website to find out how you can apply today, or visit any one of their facilities in your local community.

You can enroll at VAs website or visit any VA facility near you by yourself or with someone else who can help you fill out the application form online if necessary.

After years of being restricted to only hearing aid providers near military bases, veterans can now see a local provider for VA hearing aids. The MISSION Act of 2018 has opened up this privilege to all veterans.

You can see a local provider for VA hearing aids, and many VA hospitals now offer teleaudiology services to help take care of veterans living remotely and without easy access to healthcare centers.

The Veteran’s Administration contracts with six major hearing aid manufacturers- GN ReSound, Oticon, Phonak, Siemens (Signia), Starkey, and Widex. The VA uses the brands’ premium levels of technology which means that veterans can enjoy the same hearing aids that sell for the highest prices in the private sector.

The Department of Veterans Affairs allows veterans with disabilities to receive an extra pair of hearing aids every five years.
